A Letter to My Younger Self
What would you write if you could go back in time and deliver a letter to yourself twenty five years ago?
Rabbi Abba Cohen, who has served as Agudath Israel’s “man in Washington” for more than 25 years, recently penned the letter below (reprinted with permission from Mishpacha magazine). It is a letter he wrote “to his younger self” – as if giving himself advice before embarking on a career of service to the Jewish community.
The advice he gives is heeded every day by our state directors across the country and is worth reading for anyone involved in professional or grassroots advocacy on behalf of our community.
