School Choice Week Observed in Pennsylvania

On Thursday, the Pennsylvania chapter of the Council for American Private Education (PACAPE), held their annual event to present their School Choice Champion award. This year’s awardee was State Senator Dominic Pileggi, a long-time leader of school choice initiatives in the Keystone State. Senator Pileggi has been vital to the creation of both the EITC (Education Improvement Tax Credit) and OSTC (Opportunity Scholarships Tax Credit) programs, as well as recently enacted legislation which will widen and simplify the access to the funds allocated to both programs.
