Maryland residents can apply for BOOST Scholarships until June 15th

The application process is now underway for the BOOST (Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today) Scholarship Program.

Families with a household income that qualifies for the Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FARMs) program should apply for a scholarship for each of their school aged children entering kindergarten in fall 2017 (PLEASE NOTE: kindergarten is the grade before first grade and not nursery) through 12th grade. The program is open to all income-eligible students, and not only students who received a scholarship in 2016-2017.

Those who received scholarships in 2016-2017 are required to re-apply in order to receive a scholarship for 2017-2018.

The online application and all information regarding participation, income verification, and eligibility can be found by clicking here.

The deadline to submit an application is June 15, 2017 at 11:59 pm.
