Agudath Israel of Colorado Co-hosts non-profit tax law seminar

On Sunday, February 4th, Agudath Israel of Colorado and the Denver Community Kollel arranged a training seminar for local religious non-profits to learn how the new tax law will effect them on both a Federal and State level. Mr. Tzvi Gelt, a tax attorney with BakerHostetler, one of the nation’s largest law firms, spoke to the group and took questions, leaving all attendees with a greater understanding of the pros and cons of the new law. Organizations represented included (in alphabetical order): Agudath Israel of Colorado, Chabad of Denver, Congregation Kehilas Bais Yisroel, Denver Community Kollel, Hillel Academy of Denver, and The Jewish Experience. Much thanks goes to Rabbi Moshe Heyman of the Denver Community Kollel for arrangements and Rabbi Raphael Leban of The Jewish Experience for hosting the event.
